The beach on the eastern side of Holnis has fine Baltic sand. Swim, hire a beach chair or simply look out across the Außenförde. Follow local beach rules and designated dog-beach areas.
Wassersport Holnis offers windsurfing, kitesurfing and stand-up paddleboarding. The shallow area is appealing for beginners too. Ask the surf station directly about lessons, equipment hire and conditions.
Wind and weather set the rhythm on the water. Check current conditions and permitted water-sports areas before heading out.
